A SimpleSite Basic subscription gives you access to your own website, with 15 pages, 300 images, 600 video seconds, and 5 products in your own online store.

If you need more space or your own domain name, you can upgrade your subscription to SimpleSite PRO.

If you want to create your own online store you can upgrade to SimpleSite E-commerce which includes unlimited products, pages, images, videos and full access to all design options.

If you need more pages or photos you can upgrade to a SimpleSite PRO subscription. A SimpleSite PRO subscription has unlimited space. To upgrade please click on the link below.

At SimpleSite it’s easy to get your own domain name for your website. If you purchase a PRO subscription you will receive your own domain name for free and your SimpleSite will be called e.g. instead of In addition, you can register up to five custom email addresses, for example

Yes, but only if the SimpleSite gift certificate you received has that option listed. If it does, you can log in with your username and password and in the “Shop and Gift” section, you will find a “Renew with gift certificate” button. Click it to enter the code from your gift certificate.

Normally this happens if your website is not renewed.

If you have paid for a PRO subscription, and the payment was processed correctly, please contact the SimpleSite Customer Service as soon as possible: We try to respond to all emails within 2 business days. Please write your SimpleSite website address in your email, and email us from the email address you used to make your SimpleSite.

If you are registered with our Payment Service, your subscription will automatically be renewed. If we are unable to renew your subscription automatically, we will notify you by email with instructions on how you can renew your subscription.

If your subscription is not renewed, your subscription will expire and your website will no longer be online. We will then save all your content for 3 months. During these 3 months, you can still login to your website and renew your PRO subscription at any time. If the subscription is not renewed within 3 months after it has expired your website will be permanently deleted. Please note that deleted and expired websites are not the same, and that once a website is deleted, it can no longer be recovered.

If you don’t want to renew your PRO subscription you have 2 options:

1) You can let your PRO subscription expire. Please be aware that if you are registered with our Payment Service, your subscription will automatically be renewed. You will need to deactivate the Payment Service in order for your website to expire.

2) Log in to your website and click “Stop subscription and delete”. This will delete all of the content on your website permanently and cancel further subscription renewals.

If you were recently charged automatically via our Payment Service and you do not wish to renew your subscription, contact customer service within 14 days of the subscription renewal to receive a refund.

You can log in and check the status of your PRO subscription anytime. You can also see how many days you have left. We recommend you renew your PRO subscription at least 24 hours before the current subscription period expires. We will add the new subscription period to the number of days remaining on your current subscription.

If you have a Version 4 website this is how you delete your website:

1) Click on “Account”.

2) Click the "Manage" button under your "Subscription Status".

3) In the “Subscription” section, click on the button “Read more”. You will find the "Delete my website now" button in the screen that opens after that.

If you have a Version 3 website this is how you delete your website:

1) Click “Settings” and “Manage pages” in the navigation bar on the right-hand side of the screen to enter “Your SiteEditor”. If you entered “Your SiteEditor” immediately, please go to next step.

2) Click “Account” in the navigation bar on the right side of the screen.

3) If you have a paid website click “Payment service” in the drop-down menu. On the page that appears, please click the orange button that says “Stop SimpleSite automatic payment service”. If you have a free website, please go to the next step.

4) Click “Your subscription” in the drop-down menu on the right.

5) On the page that appears, please click the orange button labeled “Delete my website now”.

If you have a SimpleSite PRO or E-commerce subscription there will be no further charges after you have deleted the website.

You can change the name of your SimpleSite website. For example, you can change from to You can change it when you are logged in.

Remember: If you change your website name, you must use the new name as your new username when you log in to your website.

No, the size of your images is automatically set by the webpage template you chose.

Yes, log in to your website and click the “Edit” button for your guestbook. You will see all the guestbook entries there and you can delete any unwanted ones.

You can use your SimpleSite for commercial purposes, as long as the content of your pages complies with our general Terms & Conditions. You can make use of our E-commerce subscription to sell products and services on your website. Please note we do not permit website owners to resell their website or domain names to others.

Yes. Please note there is NO password protection option for your website. This means that everyone who knows the URL of your website can visit it. We recommend you always consider carefully what you publish on your website. Avoid publishing anything online that is confidential, offensive or unsuitable for public viewing. Search engines such as Google and Bing will also be able to index your website.

Yes, but we save them in a different size and format than the images you have on your computer of device. We make images smaller to reduce page load times. This means that SimpleSite is not a backup for your images or somewhere that you can store images. SimpleSite is a place where you can show your images, but remember to have a backup of your content before uploading anything.

There are no ads, pop-up boxes or sponsorships from third parties on your website.

The newsletter email could have ended up in your spam folder. If that is the case, please add to your list of safe senders/trusted websites in your own email settings.

No, at present this is not possible. You can only use the templates available on However, we may offer this feature sometime in the future.

When you create a website, we ask you for a username and password. Your username then becomes your website address (for example, if you choose the username “Caulfields,” then your website address will be, but you can also choose to purchase a SimpleSite PRO subscription and get a domain name for free.
