We develop and maintain a web application were our customers (individuals, businesses, organizations, etc.) can create a website. We get more than 400.000 new customers every month and have customers in more than 150 countries.

TASKS INCLUDE:

Together with the rest of the development and product teams

• Develop our new SPAs in selected JavaScript frameworks;
• right now we have our eyes on Backbone, Marionette, Bootstrap, Node, etc.;
• Managing highly complex and customisable front-end solutions, where speed and scalability are keywords;
• Work with the Growth Hackers team to gain knowledge of customer needs and behavior;
• Maintain our existing web solutions, including;
• optimizing existing features;
• correct errors;
• assist in Growth Hacking tasks;
• Work with UX on the design and application flow;
• Work with backend developers to develop the API between the SPAs and the backend;
• Give valid input and insight to the selection of front end architecture.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS ARE AS FOLLOWS:

Professional:

• Relevant education within computer science or similar – however, your experience and proven skills are equally important;
• Excellent and professionally experienced in JavaScript and related SPA frameworks;
• Professional experience with CSS, LESS and related technologies;
• Experience with Unit testing with jasmin, sinon js or similar.

Personal:

• Actively involved in the front-end; you let yourself be inspired, and it’s natural for you to keep up with the great things happening in the front-end and JavaScript communities;
• Love complex tasks that alternate with simpler tasks and short projects;
• Conscientious and quality conscious; you relate well to evaluations regarding what you have done;
• A team player and self-priming; and
• Great skills in focusing on alternative solutions and options that give the customer a great experience; understanding of business perspectives: that development must provide the customer with added value.

In connection with our international growth, we have just brought together all of our local brands under one brand – namely, SimpleSite. We create a super easy and user-friendly website builder for non-experienced users. Four to five million people create a website with us every year, and we have a fast-growing client base from all parts of the world. An ambitious strategic plan for further expansion has been scheduled, and our goal is to become one of top three world leaders in our field.

To address this ambition, we are now expanding our staff in Copenhagen with three very central and important key positions essential to the business.
